I am not sure to what you are referring to when you say 'to what end', perhaps you are looking for some manner of discussion or debate, for which at this time, in this place, I will not entertain. I am merely celebrating the country I love and served for over two decades.
I agree completely, but ONLY if "free" means respecting and following the Constitution and not simply waving the flag while democracy and the Constitutional order of 249 years burns.
Obviously more than simply waving a flag, but as we are a Constitutional Republic, I am not so much worried about a 'Democracy". Either way, I am merely celebrating the country I love and served for over two decades.
