I printed this at home yesterday evening, and I have to say it is a wonder to hold in my hand, I absolutely love it. This is at about a A5 size but I would actually like to make it slightly smaller, to mirror the old pulp paperbacks my dad and uncles probably read back in the day.
Killer dog in the background, just waiting to be included in the spin-off series "ROCK DOGSON"!

DeleteBack in 2005 we bought a house out in the country. It had been built by a couple who had owned motels along the old truck routes of Southern America, pre-I95 and 66 and 81 and the new high-speed freight lanes. They had a musty old collection of motel reading-fare (and wall art: Krueger!) rife with those rad pulp books a la Dark Side of the Street and The Splinter Fleet and a ton of Zane Gray.
ReplyDeleteMost of that stuff was entirely infested with silverfish and had to be burned. Literally burned, books, in the backyard. It was eerie and weird, but alas.
Your finished composition is a deadshot for those old books that would fit inside your suit jacket. I want three at least. And I want to pay full price, because I'm not your friend. I respect your industry.
So tell me how to get it done, or where, and I'll put my secretary on the job. All due respect for reminding us what classic quality really means.
I have purchased many an old pulpy paperback at garage sales and on eBay over the years and fell in love with all of them.
