Dispatches from the hospital

As some of you may have heard, I took a nasty fall off a ladder at about 20 ft. By some sort of miracle or by grace of God, I am making a speedy recovery and I appear to have no lasting mental or physical disabilities. Someone was truly looking out for me that day. I had my wife bring my tablet so that I could Ensure that I would still be able to draw maps. Above this test is the result. I seem to be okay I will just take some time to make a full recovery.

Thank you for all the well wishes, for those who put me on their prayer list, andfor those who reached out personally. I truly appreciate the outpouring of support and well wishes.

  1. If I herniate myself removing all that rubble to get to the loot in the sarcophagus I am going to be very irritated. Glad to hear you are on the mend. 1d6 falling damage/10 feet is no joke.

    1. Thanks Simon, I’m truly blessed to seemingly have no long term ill effects, From what I understand surviving a 20 ft fall without some sort of massive mental or physical disability is very rare. Very lucky!

    1. I’ve disgraced my self from most social media, the number of negative interactions frequently outpaced the positives. So I retreated to my Keep of Solitude.

  7. Hospitals are the worst! I didn't realize it was that bad, but I'm really glad you're on the mend. If your map is any indication, you've lost not one iota of talent...

    1. Thank you. I’m at home now, doing out patient physical therapy twice a week. Recovering slowly but the only really long term effect is apparently I ripped the nerves from left arm off my spinal column, main effect is my arm is somewhat numb and has a persistent “pins & needles“ feeling. Docs say it will grow back and that will fade over time.
