Map IV

  1. Loving these maps. I can see how the first leg of my campaign works through maps 1-3, and those lead to a dragon fight here... the dragon lives in area 3 (there is an opening about 100' up that the dragon leaves through to go hunting); it will be absent when the party first moves through, but then returns home the second time they move through this hall... that, or it's a shadow dragon they inadvertantly summon in one of the other rooms. I kind of like that idea better... hmmm. These maps are definitely fostering some creativity. Thanks for posting them.

    1. Thanks for stopping by and glad you are finding the maps inspirational and fun. Drawing these maps is a form of relaxation and therapy for me, clears, quiets, and calms my overthinking mind. If you use these maps in your game, let me know!

  2. Shoot! Just realized I forgot all the stones and pebbles buried in the rock! I should be fired...

  3. Matt love your maps. Can you do a post about the process you went through to publish your Book of Cartography?

    1. Was not much really, dropped them into Affinity Publisher and replicated it but with different maps. Not sure that helped but really there was not much to it.

  4. Since I can't unsee it now: there's a dead wizard stickman in the southern part of room 3. He died from a stray lightning bolt, fired some miles away by the near-sighted sorcerer Aimso Bad.
